like silk for weather

The dog slips out, the morning slips in. The stagnant space of completed sleep is slowly flooded with a cool, wet-like vapour that falls on my face like the finest of silks.

    As I read I sense my skin. The outer layers where cells are formed and shed. I am form in a boundary of change.
